How reviews work on CasaLinking
The reviews you see on CasaLinking are real guest reviews. We don't write them, we don't pay for them, and owners can't write them, edit them or choose which ones appear.
Where they come from
A property's reviews are copied from the owner's own listing on Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo, using the links the owner has added to their CasaLinking listing. Every review shows which platform it came from.
Which reviews we show
We show up to six reviews per property. We pick the highest-rated first, then the most detailed (a one-word review isn't much help), then the most recent. So what you see is a selection of the best, not every review. The overall rating and the number of reviews are the platform's own figures.
The "what guests mention most" summary
Where a property has enough reviews, we add a short summary of what guests mention most. It is written automatically (by AI) from all the reviews we hold for that property, including ones we don't display, and it is labelled as a summary. It isn't a review, and it only mentions things that several guests say, including recurring drawbacks.
Exactly as the guest wrote it
Reviews are shown as published, with the name the guest used on that platform and in the language they wrote it. We don't edit, shorten or translate them.
How often they update
Reviews are refreshed about every two weeks. If a review is taken down on the original platform, it stops being shown here after the next refresh.
What we don't do
We don't invent reviews, and we don't show reviews for a property that hasn't linked a listing from one of these sites. If a property has no reviews here, it simply has none to show yet.
