- Guest booking details (such as names and reservation notes) that appear automatically in an owner's connected external calendar (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO)
Calendar sync data.If a property owner connects an external calendar (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, or VRBO) to keep their availability accurate on CasaLinking, that calendar feed may include guest names and booking notes provided by the platform itself. We store this information solely to display accurate availability and help the property owner manage their calendar. This data is visible only to that property's own owner, is never shown publicly on the platform, and is automatically replaced each time the calendar syncs — so it reflects only the source platform's current feed rather than being retained indefinitely by us.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following legitimate purposes:
- Facilitate connections between property owners and potential guests
- Display property listings on our platform
- Automatically translate non-English property descriptions for display to guests
- Determine an approximate map location for a property from its address
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Improve our services and user experience

- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
- Keep availability calendars accurate for owners and guests, including data sourced automatically from an owner's connected external calendar

- An AI language processing provider, to provide automatic translation of property descriptions into English
- A mapping and geolocation provider, to determine an approximate map location from a property address
- A website hosting provider, to host the CasaLinking website itself
We may also share your information:
- With other platform users (owners and guests) to facilitate communications
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights
- In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with prior notification)

- Calendar sync data (guest names/notes from connected calendars): Automatically refreshed and replaced each time the calendar syncs, reflecting only the current feed from the connected platform — not retained beyond what the source platform itself currently provides.
