Our Rustic Log Cabin in the Woods is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the many wonders of the New Forest. Situated within the Sandy Balls Holiday Park, the property is one of only 4, unique log cabins on the park. It is not a caravan or mobile home, it is a 2 bedroom wooden log cabin with a surrounding deck. The WiFi is the fastest available on the park at 150mbps and allows streaming of UHD content on the 55" UHD Smart TV with ease. NOTE: The Log burner is not real! It's electric :) The space The Rustic Log Cabin in the Woods is a detached log cabin (not be confused with the less elegant pre-fabricated static caravans which dominate the site) offering a centrally heated, wooden cladded interior in keeping with its beautiful forest location. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the Sandy Balls estate, The Log Cabin in the Woods is a perfect place to enjoy all the beauty of the New Forest. The hot tub is not available due to Sandy Balls charging far to much to maintain it. However, if you purchase guest passes there is a hot tub and sauna available in the sports centre. We do not provide linen or towels as standard. Duvets (x4) and pillows (x8) are included. You can either bring your own linen and towels or rent linen and towels from the Sandy Balls Visitors Centre. Pricing is in the listing photos. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and grounds including parking for 1 car free of charge. Other things to note The park facilities are available to guests free of charge including the pub, restaurant, shop and games facilities etc. The only chargeable services are the pools (winter indoor only, summer outdoor pool is also available) and the gym. If you would like to use these facilities (or book activities via the app) then you will need guest passes which are available at the reception. The costs for these are shown in this listing photos.

“We had a lovely stay at Scott’s cabin! Sandy Balls holliday village is quite the large place, but the cabin is located in a rather quiet spot in the park. Also the staff was very helpful and sweet when we went and rent the linnen, towels and park passes. We visited during a heatwave, but because the cabin was shaded by a lot of trees it was actually quite comfortable. The cabin felt very homey and everything was provided for a very comfortable stay. Communication with Scott was friendly, quick and easy. The kids were very adamant that we should return here whenever we’d find ourselves in New Forest again, and we have to agree :)”

“We had a lovely time! Cabin was nice and welcoming, and the area itself was very nice and surprisingly tranquil considering the proximity of other holiday homes close by. Would definitely stay again. Sandy Balls was also nice, there seemed to be a lot to do for families etc. I particularly enjoyed the artisanal food items in the parks shop, some really nice quality foods! It's not the easiest place to get to without a car, but once you're there, you're surrounded by different nature walks and the scenery is fantastic. Thanks!”

“Honestly fell in love with this lodge, I actually didn't want to go out! Fabulous location for exploring the Newforest, the lodge was very spacious and equipped with all you need,decor was lovely and nice and warm and cosy. Resort has all you need if you didn't want to drive and Scott was very responsive and friendly. The effort they had put in for Halloween at sandy balls was fab! Apparently great for Xmas too. Thank you x”

“We started the holiday with a lovely and helpful message from the host. The place is absolutely beautiful, we were able to use the tv with no problems, wifi was good, and beautiful red kitchen. Also a cute mood light orb in the bedroom. Lots of nice little extras too like blankets and coffee. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“Beautiful and peaceful stay in a serene location. Scott's place is cosy, comfortable and well presented. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we could need, and tea and coffee were also provided. Scott provided an excellent local recommendation for us, which we also thoroughly enjoyed.
