Villa La Maja Beachfront

“Francisco has an amazing place in Corallejo! Thank you for letting us stay. We (me and my girlfriend) have spent two weeks in Villa La Maja and we had a great time. First about check-in and communication; communication was very clear and always very quick. Thay checked us in and took care of any questions we might have had during our stay. She is very communicative (she is always available on Whatsapp) and helps with everything. Mid-stay she even came by to change linen and clean up a bit. Upon arrival the place (and amazing garden!) was spot clean. Great service. The place Great two bedroom apartment litterally on the beach. There is a front yard and a very well maintained garden that goes around the house all the way to the back where there is an amazing view over Corralejo-center, the harbour, the ocean and Lobos island. From the back side of the garden there is a little gate to reach the beach. Inside is well equipped and in very good condition, with all furniture and amenities you would need. Kitchen is clean and has a coffee machine (Dolce Gusto), oven/microwave, fridge, electric stove and other amenities. Both bedrooms and the living room have televisions. The Internet connection (WIFI) is very fast, fiber optic with 100mbit up and down, also perfect for remote working if needed. There is a barbecue in the garden and semi-outdoor space (serre-like) which keeps you clear from the wind from the sea which sometimes can be quite strong in the evening. Perfect for dining! There are also two sunbeds outside. Things to take into consideration: - the house is next to a coffee place with outside terrace, which is open from 10am to 6pm. Sometimes they play music which is audible in the garden (not loud but still noticable). On the other hand they have a great menu and are literally nextdoor which is a plus for a quick bite/breakfast/drink :-) Local area Around the house: main thing around the house is of course the beach! When you walk out the gate in the garden you are immediately on the beach. On the right (±2 mins) there is a great surf-spot, Rocky Point. We had quite some nice surf there during our stay, plus the waves are visilbe from the garden so you can keep a watch on it at all times :-). The beach right in front of the house has a lot of coral so coral-shoes are recommended. If you walk to the left (about 5 mins) there are little sand beaches as well, plus there is a nice beach bar and surf/sup-rental with live music (± 2hrs) and cocktails every evening. The nearest supermarket is a 5 min walk and has all necessities (except for fresh vegetables/fish/meat). Next to this supermarket is also a bike rental (road and mountain bikes). There is a bigger supermarket ±10 mins away by foot and it has everything. While we were staying we started using the Link electric scooters (comparable to Lime for example) which are everywhere around Collajero and you can rent them using an app on your phone. They are great to get around. Center and more tourist district is about a 15 min walk. The location of the house is in a more quiet area, which we experienced as a plus.”

“We've stayed in Francisco's house before, and we liked it so much that we have decided to return to experience it a second time :-). Everything from my first review is still true, and now it is even better! The house is very clean, spacious, and in a great location. It is literally on the beach and very close to the center of Corralejo, but just outside all the more touristic areas, which is nice and quiet. It is on a dead-end street, so there is not much traffic. The house has all the amenities you could wish for. It has a super fast (fiber optic) Internet connection which is great if you have to do some remote working. The garden, which connects to the beach, is big and spacious, has sun throughout the day, but also plenty of spots to enjoy some shadow. Communication and check-in/out have been great. Jean took care of us while we were there; she is also based on the Island. If there was anything, we could contact her (through Whatsapp or a phone call), and it would be resolved immediately. She provided great service. Also, every week we had a cleaning, so everything was nice and tidy at all times. Francisco is constantly improving his property, and it shows. We found a lot of improved details, but also bigger improvements like new amenities in the kitchen and upgrades to the inside and outside light. Oh - and there are also (quite big!) televisions in the living and master bedroom, which have a direct connection with streaming services like Netflix, Chromecast, etc. We really recommend this place for a relaxing holiday, and we will definitely be back in the future! “Just got back from this amazing villa. It’s located on the beach at my favourite side (quieter) of Corralejo, yet only a 15 minute walk - along the beaches (so you don’t even notice it!) from the main hub of restaurants and bars. It’s fully equipped, and the beautifully and tastefully planted garden going onto the beach is a great place to relax while listening to the waves. We spent 3 of our nights after eating in town playing backgammon (one of the many games available in the villa), listing to waves, overlooking the lights of Corralejo harbour. We just wanted to get back there as we loved it so much…. Both bedrooms are a good size with excellent storage. As a coffee lover, I especially appreciated the coffee machine… Towels were included, we used our beach towels on the two loungers at the back - most evenings we would enjoy a beer on them facing the setting sun after a long day at the stunning Grandes Playa. We went to the Sunset Lounge a couple of days on the way back to the villa, I definitely recommend going there if you like some live music with a cocktail… Communication with Francisco and Jean was great. Having someone English-speaking next door and to be able to message her with a few questions we’d missed at the beginning really helped… This is my second visit to Corralejo and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else now. We will definitely be booking this villa again. You have a beautiful villa in a beautiful location Francisco….”

“For my husband and I, this was our second stay at Villa La Maja. We had such an amazing stay first time round, we booked again and hope to go back next year too. We've been coming to Corralejo for 15 years and this is the best place we have stayed. The villa is perfect, it's clean, comfortable and a wonderful place to relax right by the sea, we love it. Only a 15-20 minute walk into town along the beach to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The villa also has a lovely, well maintained garden with plenty of seating areas which we used regularly. It was lovely having our morning tea/coffee just watching the world go by. Francisco, the owner, and Vicky, the manager were great. Very attentive and nothing too much trouble. We were sad to leave but hopefully we'll be there again in 2026.”

“Wonderful Stay at La Maja – We’ll Be Back! We have just returned from a wonderful stay at La Maja and are already looking forward to booking again. The property exceeded our expectations – it had everything we could possibly need, and was of a very high standard: clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with stunning views and a lovely garden that leads right onto the beach. The new sun loungers were a great addition and made relaxing even more enjoyable. Francisco and Vicky were extremely helpful and welcoming, staying in touch throughout our visit to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s worth mentioning that the photographs really don’t do the property justice – it’s even more beautiful in person. Thank you again for a fantastic experience”

“Vielen Dank an Francisco für diese unvergesslich schöne Urlaubswoche in der bezaubernden Villa La Maja! Die Übergabe der Schlüssel und ein kurzer Rundgang durch die Räumlichkeiten erfolgten persönlich durch die sehr freundliche Jean vom Haus nebenan. Alles in und um die Villa La Maja war liebevoll arrangiert und sehr sauber, wir fühlten uns von Beginn an sehr wohl. Der Kontakt zu Francisco war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend, uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Lage direkt am Strand und die schöne Terrasse mit Palmen und Pflanzen, das alles fühlte sich an wie im Paradis. Wir genossen die Privatsphäre, von der Savannah Beach Bar direkt nebenan bekamen wir so gut wie gar nichts mit. Wir haben uns förmlich verliebt in dieses kleine, aber sehr feine Anwesen. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder!”
